AMORPHIS To Tour Russia, Ukraine In October

Finnish metallers AMORPHIS will embark on a short tour of Russia and Ukraine in October. Confirmed dates are as follows:

Oct. 07 - Kiev (UA),venue tba
Oct. 09 - Khabarovsk (RU),Circus
Oct. 10 - Vladivostok (RU),[venue to be announced]
Oct. 12 - Moscow (RU),Apelsin
Oct. 13 - Rostov (RU),Dk Rostselmash

An e-card for AMORPHIS's upcoming album, "Silent Waters", has been made available at this location. The CD was recorded at Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki, Finland. Mixing duties were handled by Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, STRATOVARIUS) at Finnvox studios.

AMORPHIS will embark on a European tour in November. The first leg of the "Silent Waters European Tour" will take AMORPHIS to Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Norway and Sweden before the band returns to Finland for a concert at Nosturi in Helsinki. Support on the trek will come from SWALLOW THE SUN and INSOMNIUM.

AMORPHIS' latest single, "Silent Waters", entered the Finnish chart at position No. 2.
